Hit:One of the top BP performances of the day. Smooth, easy movements that come together well. Stays balanced throughout stroke. Physical lefty with well above average bat speed. Landed on balls in BP. Stroked a ground rule double in game.
Power:Gap pop with loft power to pull.
Offensive Projection: Middle.

Field:Solid defender over at first base. Plays fast off the bag with confident actions throughout. Glove works.
Throw:Loose arm with jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection:1B.
Scouting Notes:Two-way guy who stood out with the bat then showed he's a follow on the mound as well. Physical lefty with a fast arm and the ability to spin it. Filled up the zone with quality stuff.
Fastball:76-79 mph.

1/25/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Physical presence on the mound. Works quickly and doesn't have a ton of effort to delivery. Smoother actions. Arm works well through a high-3/4 slot.
Fastball: Mostly true. Expect more velo down the road. 78-80 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1880-1960.
Curveball: Above average offering. Big, sweeping action to it. Tosses it with feel. Showed the ability to work to both sides of the plate with it.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1920-1960.
Changeup: Maintains most of his arm speed. Similar look and action to fastball. Nice wrinkle offering that should continue to develop.
Pitchability: Filled it up.
1/26/20 Position Player
Hit: Physical presence in the box from the left side. Uses a very easy, fluid loading sequence. Natural loft to strike allows for easy backspin to both gaps. Physical bat that can really get into it when he catches it out in front of home plate.
Power: Ball jumped when squared. Showed real raw potential and his natural lift makes him a middle of lineup candidate.
Offensive Projection: Middle.

Field: Looks well versed and comfortable over at first base. Moves well off the bag with feel for the position. Ball skills are above average. Solid defender over there.
Throw: Clean, loose arm. More than enough strength for the spot.
Defensive Projection: 1B.
Body Type: 6-foot, 220-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Open stance with a simple load that has minimal movement.
Hit: Level bat path with a backside approach. Stays inside the baseball well, and creates backspin to the opposite field.
Power: Flashed pop to the gaps.
Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup guy.
Field: A first baseman with smooth actions over there. Plays with obvious feel for the spot and above average ball skills. Very solid defender.
Throw: 3/4 lefty with more than enough strength for the spot.
Defensive Projection: 1B.

Body Type: 6-foot, 220-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance from the left side. Fluid, athletic moves that work well.
Hit: Swing works and path plays. Has the finer points down just needs to add burst with physical maturity as the strength is already present. Definite follow.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity. More to come.
Offensive Projection: Middle Potential.
Run: 4.95 H-1st.
Field: Worked out at first base where he showed an above average skill set across the board. Smooth actions with above average ball skills.
Throw: Showed 67 mph arm strength across the diamond. Clean arm with developing strength.
Defensive Projection: 1B.
