Starts in a crouched stance with a handsy load, then uses a short stride. Had a simple uphill swing plane, quick efficient bat speed and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; had a quick clean exchange, smooth athletic footwork, and soft sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and athletic slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Smooth advanced on the mound, showed a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle with good arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with uphill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic recoil finish. (Max spin 1990; Avg 1917).

Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 75 mph; has sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.91. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing some arm speed.
