Begins in a wide balanced stance with a smooth long load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a simple upward swing plane and high finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Line drive base hit approach. Athletic capable in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 76 mph; showed choppy in control feet, a quick clean exchange, and soft sure hands. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were athletic. Projectable capable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a long loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive slow-tempo type pitcher who shows decent effort. Showed low balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with balanced finish. Shows both sides of the plate command and slight running action with tight movement. (Max spin 2003; Avg 1914). Threw his tight curveball with control around the zone and slight slurvey action. (Max spin 1809; Avg 1707). Has down in the zone control and slight sinking action on his heavy changeup.
