Luke Syrett: RHP/2B, (2023) Hilliard Davidson, OH. 6-foot-1, 165-pound athletic build. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 78 mph. (64.8 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Began in an open tall stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has quick bat speed and simple level swing plane. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; showed a clean lengthy exchange, firm hands, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action with a low ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.14 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, had a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with quick consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed consistent balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-81 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2104; Avg 1992). Throws a 11/5 curveball (70-73) with some sweeping action. (Max spin 1881; Avg 1797).

Starts in a tall balanced stance with a small compact load, then uses a toe tap stride. Had efficient bat speed, level rotational swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls throughout his round. Up the middle approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 73 mph; had a natural fluid exchange, soft hands, and average footwork. Had consistent accuracy. Recorded a time of 7.39 in the 60-yard dash.

Began in a tall stance with a slow load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was developing, used a rotational level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels through his round. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 72 mph; has rhythmic feet, a natural exchange, and soft consistent hands.
