Delivery Notes:Uber projectable frame. One to follow as he continues to fill out. Long-lever type that gets down the mound well. Arm works well through a near over the top slot. Regular cutting action on the fastball.
Fastball:Regular cutting action on the fastball. 70-74 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate:1590-1750
Curveball:Solid offering. Near 12/6 shape with later dive to it. Big bender. 61-64 mph.
Curveball Spin Rate:1960-2100
Changeup:The change up offers similar arm speed with a little heavier fade than fastball.
Pitchability:In.out.
2/6/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot-5, 180-pound frame with endless projection left.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Works exclusively from the stretch. Long lever lefty that gets down the mound well. Long back, mostly clean arm through a near over the top slot. Ball comes out easy.
Fastball: 74-75 mph. Works downhill with some run to it. Creates a tough angle for hitter from both sides of the plate.
Curveball: 60-61 mph. 1/7 shaped, big breaker that was in the zone frequently.
Changeup: 66-68 mph. Playable offering with late bite to it.
Pitchability: Was in the zone for the most part with all three.
Additional Comments: Obvious upside with his frame and being left-handed. Has some moving parts as do most projects that young with his length but there is also some athleticism in there.
