Riley Duperier: 1B/LHP, (2022) Lakota East, OH. 6-foot-2, 175-pound lanky frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 82 mph. Started in a tall athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, had a flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 67 mph; shows firm hands, a natural exchange, and consistent developing feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. Capable on the mound, has consistent arm speed and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Slider (54-55 mph).Sat with his fastball at 63-64 mph. Had running action. Throws a 12/6 curveball (50-55). His changeup (58-59) showed fading action.
Delivery Notes: Long limbed lower half that lands closed off. An upbeat tempo with a quick ¾ arm action.
Fastball: 65-67mph with a 1500-1700rpm spin rate and arm side movement.
Curveball: 52-55mph with 1200-1400rpm spin rate with 1/7 movement. CB is big, round strike pitch
Changeup: 57-58mph Good arm action on CH
