Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient, has a level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 74 mph; showed sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.02. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1895; Avg 1752). Has gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1632; Avg 1622).
