Will Lutmer: OF/RHP, (2024) St. Xavier, OH. 6-foot-2, 185-pound. (63.2 mph bat speed average). (20.9 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had a simple flat swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 74 mph; had a natural exchange, consistent footwork, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a consistent arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, used a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1946; Avg 1872). His 11/5 curveball had gradual action. (Max spin 1770; Avg 1714).
