Brooks Cummings: RHP/OF, (2027) Lebanon, OH. 5-foot-6, 130-pound athletic frame. (55.1 mph bat speed average). (18.6 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed was quick efficient, showed a level swing plane and balanced finish. Was able to create a lot of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Confident in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 79 mph; has consistent hands, a fluid exchange, and smooth quick feet. Fielded the ball to the side out front with athletic movement laterally. From athletic slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short very quick arm action. Clocked a time of 7.79 in the 60-yard dash. Advanced on the mound, showed some arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a clean arm action. Stretch only type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a strong balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with balanced finish. (Max spin 1781; Avg 1687).
