Cooper Briggs: 2B/OF, (2022) Manchester, OH. 5-foot-11, 175-pound. Solid during batting practice, Briggs clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then used a short stride. Had efficient bat speed, simple swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels in his rounds. Line drive approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 72 mph; has consistent feet, consistent hands, and a natural exchange. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 77 mph; has average feet, and consistent hands. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.98.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a smooth stride for timing as hands stay quiet throughout load. Physical swing that works on a downhill trajectory. Although strength is top tool bat speed is more than serviceable. Middle-back approach in BP.

Field:In the outfield he plays at a fast pace, getting too and through the baseball with aggressive feet. Ball skills are on par for class and he has a smooth transition into release. Also worked out in the infield. Plays with aggressive feet and solid hands. Looks to be a guy who can be serviceable in the infield and outfield.
Throw:Arm works. Strength appears to be average with a chance to be above average down the road.
