2/17/24

Jack Ziarko: 1B/3B, (2026) Hoover High School, OH. 6-foot-4, 255-pound physical sturdy build. (66.3 mph bat speed average). (19.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in an open stance with a quick active load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was electric, used an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Confident in the infield, his best throw was registered at 72 mph; had consistent hands, a natural exchange, and fluid footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a short very quick arm action with uninterrupted slot.
