Jared Sierra: 3B/RHP, (2027) Valley View, OH. 5-foot-8, 165-pound. (60.0 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a quiet stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, showed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph; showed choppy feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1978; Avg 1930). His 10/4 slider shows late action. (Max spin 2256; Avg 1915).
