Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Had electric bat speed, short simple swing plane and high balanced finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Pull side gap to gap approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 72 mph. While catching, throw downs to second topped out at 71 mph; has smooth feet, consistent hands, and a clean fluid transfer. Some flexibility and calm setup.
