Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, shows an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 76 mph; had a clean fluid transfer, soft sure hands, and consistent footwork. had a pop time of 2.07-2.13. Calm clean setup with some flexibility. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used athletic slot with a loose quick arm action. (Max spin 2441; Avg 2378).
