Parker Smith: 2B/RHP, (2027) Little Miami High School, OH. 6-foot, 150-pound athletic projectable frame. (60.1 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a tall balanced stance with a smooth compact load, then used a controlled leg kick. Had a simple swing plane, electric bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Confident while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 68 mph; had a natural exchange, firm hands, and consistent footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were quick. Used a consistent arm action with uninterrupted slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.76. Advanced on the mound, showed good developing arm speed, he had a consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Displays even shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. (Max spin 1770; Avg 1641).
