Began in a balanced stance with a tight load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 76 mph; had choppy footwork, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1798; Avg 1725). His 11/5 curveball showed some action. (Max spin 1577; Avg 1487).
