6-foot-1 and 175-pound right-handed pitching prospect. Compact delivery that requires regular effort. Uses a chest high lift before rolling into a hip load. Creates some deception with counter rotation and tilt of the upper body. Good stride direction and square at finish. The right-hander offers a four-pitch mix. The fastball works downhill out of a high-3/4 slot at 75-77 MPH. At 65-66 MPH the breaking ball has 11/5 shape and developing depth. Shows feel for a changeup that has some sink and 69-70 MPH. Also flashed some knuckleballs that danced a little in the zone at 64-65 MPH. Two-way prospect. Swings it from the right side startin in a tall, open setup. An ambush type hitter that makes contact from his front side. His long levers allow him to do damage when he gets extended. Path is mostly level with uphill tendencies at times. Ball jumps when he finds the barrel, showing gap pop with flashes of power to come as he fills out his athletic, projectable fame. Can pull off at times, with much truer ball flight when barrel stays through contact. In the outfield he plays with fluid, efficient footwork to the baseball. Hands are soft and he showed above average ball skills through fielding. Threw with accuracy and some carry. Arm projects for more strength.
