The highest ranked uncommitted player in the 2023 class, Alleman provided a quick glimpse at some overpowering stuff. The 6-foot, 185-pound right-hander sports a compact frame with a longer, one-piece arm stroke that delivered fastballs up to 91 mph (2500 RPM). Working 89-91 in a 12-pitch, 3-strikeout inning, the fastball exhibited considerable hop through the zone when elevated, and he appeared to manipulate sink when working down. Alleman has an easy operation on the bump and worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. He is definitely an arm that college coaches will want to circle to see throughout the spring/summer as he has demonstrated an innate ability to compete and succeed in previous looks.

Alleman did a little bit of everything on Saturday. From a position player standpoint, he continued to show off a strong, accurate arm from the OF and profiles well to a corner spot. He doesn’t get cheated at the plate, taking aggressive hacks throughout BP while working mostly to the middle of the field. But on the bump is where Alleman made the most noise, recording the top velo on the day while also showing his usual feel for polish and control. Alleman touched 88 and comfortably held 84-87 throughout his outing. Pairs the heavy FB with a horizontal breaker and occasional CH. Saw a lot of time on the bump for Jesuit as a sophomore and should continue to trend upward as he gets more innings/reps.
