6’2, 170 lbs with long, lean levers and an athletic trim. Runs well underway with easy strides. Offensively sets up tall, upright in the box with slightly open stance and bend in lower half. Hands start relaxed then stretch back to load as he takes forward stride. Loose, rhythmic hands. Starts swing from an athletic base, moves through core easily. Creates easy barrel action that whips through the zone and into a high finish. Showed defensively versatility, working at both SS and C. As an INF, moves easily and stays light on his feet. Comes down to the ball with a hip hinge and sinks into lower half from a wide base. Fluid transition into throwing motion while keeping momentum behind the play. Quick, tight arm action from ¾ slot. As a C, does a quality job presenting a compact target despite having a larger frame to work with. Mobility in the hips helps him stay beneath the ball as he receives. Sets up both with 1KD as well as a more conventional staggered set up. Quick feet out of crouch with direction towards target. High, tight arm action from over the top release.
