10/12/18 - FIU commit. 6-foot-2, 200-pound left-handed two-way prospect. RIvera has an athletic frame with a strong lower half. He creates natural loft from the left side and uses the strong lower half well. There is some length and swing and miss, but shows above average power potential. Defensively, he has a 60 arm, throws were accurate with carry. On the mound, the athleticism plays. He has a quick arm and the fastball worked 86-91 with life. Also had a feel for a slider at 76-83 mph and struck out three in two innings of work.
