Both Steven Ondina and Zabala attend Puerto Rico's International Baseball Academy and the two are also committed to FIU. The similarities mostly end there. While Ondina's twitch and footspeed help him fit the top-of-the-order profile, Zabala has the ceiling of a center fielder with pop. He's built at a chiseled 6-foot-1, 195 pounds which helps him project for some power as he continues to polish the hit tool – and that's with advanced footspeed that could keep him in center long-term. While somewhat stiff in the right-handed batter's box, Zabala's physical traits are rare, making him an intriguing power/speed name to know ahead of next June's MLB Draft.
