Creekside JC Showcase: If there’s a better defender in the JUCO ranks this year, I’d like to see him. Torres can flat out defend with off the charts instincts, tremendous hands, plus range and average arm strength that plays up with his quick release and the ability to throw accurately from all angles. He’s pro ready with the glove, but the bat is still a work-in-progress with strength gains needed in his 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame.
