The lower half is under control a very smooth leg kick, gains ground, hands are back on foot strike. The swing is short to contact, hands are inside, barrel gets in the zone early and stays in for a long time. Stays through the baseball, creating backspin and lift consistently, exit velocity . A plus runner, ran a 6.66 sixty-yard dash, can really move. Defensively, can track it with ease, approach is under control, fielding out front, using a shuffle for the transfer. The arm action is long and loose, working from a higher slot, all throws were on a line. Worked off the mound as well, mixed a two-pitch mix, fastball was clocked at 83 mph. The breaking ball was at 63 mph, needs to be thrown with more fastball hand speed. Big time prospect, potential draft down the road.
