Coutcher is a 5-foot-8, 160 pound right-handed pitching prospect. The delivery is simple and works off a small side step to get balanced over the rubber. He creates good direction to home plate and remains balanced throughout the delivery. The arm swing takes a short but clean path, creating some arm side run. He commands his fastball on both sides of the plate and sits 76-78 MPH. The breaking ball has good shape at 66-68 MPH and he showed the feel for a change-up at 65 MPH.
5-foot-8, 160-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder. He ran a 7.62 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is online and athletic, he threw 80 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is even in base with the front foot open to start the process. The front foot closes down and the hands initiate the swing. The path is long to contact. The hands work freely with the bat. On the mound, the fastball sat 78-79 mph. The spin pitch was 69-72 mph and solid in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. sitting at 67-68 mph.
