Allen Espinal: SS/OF, (2025) Classical, RI. 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic lean frame. Projectable during batting practice, Espinal recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. (63.4 mph bat speed average). (19.8 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing, uses an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 72 mph; has a natural exchange, developing average feet, and developing soft hands. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.5 at the event.
