Anthony Martin: OF/LHP, (2024) IMG Academy, RI. 5-foot-8, 180-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable and athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 91 mph. (66.1 mph bat speed average). (17.2 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable athletic from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 78 mph; has developing athletic feet, a natural clean exchange, and developing soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic developing movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.6.

(64.22 mph bat speed average). (18.24 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced, athletic stance with a wrapping load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, used an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. In the round he found some barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable and capable in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 76 mph; has soft developing hands, a clean exchange, and developing average feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a 60 time of 7.22 at the event. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a loose arm action with a ¾ sub arm angle. Feel up-tempo type pitcher , showed some effort. Tall balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 74-76 mph; showed slight running action and arm side command. (Max spin 1509; Avg 1359). Defense:  (OF) Soft developing hands, developing average footwork, clean exchange. Projectable and capable.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. 

Arm: 76 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.

Pitching: Capable. Feel up-tempo delivery, some effort. ¾ sub arm angle, developing arm speed, loose arm action. Consistent balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

5-foot-7, 155-pound left-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting outfielder, young frame that still has a lot of growth and development left to do, ran a 7.68 laser-timed 60. On the mound, arm works long with a stab on the back-side to an over-the-top slot. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line, lands square, finishes square to home. Fastball sat 68-69, touched 70. Curveball, 59-64, 11/5 shape, gradual. Changeup, 60-61. Offensively, balanced setup, short drop of hands on load, short stride, finishes on back-side. Line drive type hitter, barrel path works short to the zone, mostly level through, at-times can get uphill and elevate the ball, 80 exit velocity off a tee, 83.49 max exit velocity during BP. Defensively, long arm action to an over-the-top slot, 70 from the outfield. Attacks the ball in the outfield with fluid footwork and clean exchanges.
