6-foot-1, 185-pound, strong athletic frame, it’s long and wide with plenty of room for future development. A right-hander who works out of a high ¾ slot. The arm action is short and hides the ball well behind his body, move of a short crank action. The fastball is 80-82 mph, with life and action to the arm side, it’s a heavy ball. Locates it well to both sides, pitches in very well to righties. The breaking ball is a late biting slider at 73 mph, has a chance to be an out pitch. Times to the plate are quick at 1.0, just a two pitch pitcher, no change in his arsenal. Projects for me as a late inning bullpen guy, who should be able to take the ball out of play. Someone is going to get a good one.

10/10/16

6-foot-1, 185-pound, large athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are square, back is wide and lower half is strong and durable. The frame is bigger than how it looks. A right-handed arm, works from the set position the entire time, the ball comes out of a natural ¾ slot. The arm action is slightly longer on the backside, with crank like action to it. The baseball jumps out of his hand, gets good sink to the armside and has some cut to it to the glove side. The fastball was clocked at 79-82 mph, it's heavy with more in there. The breaking ball is his best pitch, it's a slider/slurve with late break to it. Clocked at 70-73 mph, can put hitters away with it now, has a chance to be an above average pitch. The delivery is simple, stays back and tall on the back side, works downhill. Threw a ton of strikes, worked quick, with a good tempo. Showed the ability to pitch out of the stretch, times to the plate were quick at 1.16 -1.37. A huge surprise, definite high follow for me, should be able to help someone out of the bullpen to start out with.
