8/5/16- Future Game Report

6-foot-3, 150-pound, the frame is thin, long  and lengthy, has plenty of room to fill out. This right-handed pitcher works from high ¾ slot, works downhill and lived down in the zone. Threw a ton of strikes, fastball was 81-83 mph, with some action to arm side. The breaking ball has 11/5 breaking, not thrown overly hard at 68 mph, works well off his fastball. The changeup was clocked at 77 mph, a tick high. Pitched two solid innings in the future games, is a strike throwing machine, has a ton left in his arm. Look for the velocity to jump, good looking prospect. Projects for me as a low-mid division 1 arm

7/19/16

High level follow for this young 6-foot-3, 155-pound right-handed pitcher. The delivery is a little crude now, as he is still growing into the frame. The arm has tremendous projection to it, works very clean and its quick. Possesses very long arms, so seeing this guy make a jump in velocity in the next two year, is a no brainer. Fastball had downward plane to it, sitting 82-83 mph and touching 85 mph. The spin pitch has the right shape to it, 69-71 mph and the changeup is a work in progress at 75-78 mph. In the stretch, has forward lean to the plate, keeping his head over the rubber longer will help. 1.17 on a slide step to the plate. The head moves slightly as the arm comes through. And a posted glove side will help him get his ball hand out further. Currently the delivery has too much glove side pull to it. High level follow.
