11/04/20

5-foot-10, 145-pound, stronger athletic frame, a twitchy athlete. A right-handed pitcher, has a very quick and powerful arm. The delivery is sound and simple, repeated it with minimal effort. The hands start and stay low at the waist, slightly away from the frame. The lift is athletic, coil to it, inline closed off front foot with stride. The arm action is clean, showing average length and working through a natural 3/4 slot. The frontside, glove comes off on release could track a tick longer. The fastball reached 85 mph, located to both sides, gets through the catcher. The breaking ball has good hand speed, thrown with velocity, clocked at 72 mph. The changeup has true, shape and action to it, to the arm side, good hand speed, works off fastball well, clocked at 77 mph. Mixed in a slider as well, at 71 mph, which had more horizontal break to it. Good looking athlete.

10/18/20

5-foot-10, 145-pound, average athletic frame, showing twitchy, quick actions, big time athlete, with plus tools. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, at the plate, a balanced setup, feet are even, hands are loose and relaxed at shoulder height, with pre-pitch movement to them. The stride is simple, hands are back on foot strike, swing bath is level to up, rolls hands late, creates natural lift, length in the gaps.  Took a very good round of batting practice, with solid at bats in scrimmage. The exit velocity was clocked at 92 mph, and ran a quick 6.62 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, shows a big time arm, clocked at 89 mph across the diamond, good life and carry to it. The glove is soft, comes through the baseball, showed solid starts and turns around the bag. Plenty of arm to stick on left side, will need to continue to smooth out defensive actions. Off the mound, pounded the zone with a three-pitch mix. The delivery is simple, easy lift, inline direction, lead arm comes off at times, could track longer. The lower half could be used more with finish. The arm action is clean on the backside, working from a 3/4 to high 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 87 mph, more 4-seamers. The breaking ball has velocity, clocked in the low 70's, along with a  changeup. Projects out more as a position player, potential draft pick at some point.

Exit Velocity: 92 mph

Arm Velocity: 89 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 6.62
