Starts in a balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick efficient, exhibits a short swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Smooth while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; shows next level hands, rhythmic feet, and a quick exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used clean slot with a short consistent arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.82. Smooth on the mound, showed a short moderate arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1942; Avg 1904).
