Evan LeVasseur: OF/LHP, (2025) Middletown, RI. 6-foot, 185-pound sturdy athletic build. Started in a balanced strong stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Capable In the outfield, has consistent feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Advanced projectable on the mound, used a clean arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. 5-foot-11, 160-pound, longer athletic frame with plenty of room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitting two-way player. At the plate, hands are clean to and through the baseball. The swing plane is down-level-up, more of a middle opposite approach, creates backspin to the baseball. The approach is advanced, had a exit velocity of 79 mph and ran a 7.59 sixty-yard dash. Defensively from the outfield, threw 71 mph, footwork is under control, short strider, could long it a bit more, arm action is short and clean on backside. Off the mound, simple delivery, coil and wrap to leg raise, sticks the landing with a firm front side. The arm action is clean, working from a higher slot, pitching downhill, locating to both sides of the plate. The fastball was clocked at 70 mph. Shows to have some crossfire with lower half, making the curveball to be tough to hit, clocked at 55 mph, showed a fading changeup at 65 mph. Love the feel off the mound, look for him to take a big jump at some point.

From the outfield, approach is under control, short stride, arm action is clean, working from a natural slot, clocked at 65 mph. Off the mound, working from the set position, lift is smooth and athletic, slight lean with head, could stay more vertical with it. The stride is shorter, has more length, frontside has minimal pull off. The arm action is clean on the backside, working from a 3/4 slot. The fastball was clocked at 65 mph, threw strikes with it. The curveball was clocked at 50 mph, bigger, slower break, will need to add more fastball hand speed to this pitch. The changeup showed proper arm side fade action.
