Infield Velocity

5-foot-11, 175-pound, lean athletic frame, room for added weight gains. Body and actions work with minimal effort. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, at the plate, feet are even a balanced setup, hands are relaxed at shoulder height. The swing is short to contact, line drive approach, stays in the middle of the field. The exit velocity was clocked at 88 mph and ran a 7.14 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, the hands are super soft, working from the ground up, showing twitchy actions. The arm is above average, short and quick from a higher slot, clocked at 81 mph. Showed really good feel and flow around the bag, can turn the double play form both spots. Solid looking player with good feel for game, mechanically very sound. Collected multiple hits in game play.

5-foot-10, 165-pound, average athletic frame with room for added weight gains. Frame and body work well together, smooth movements. A right-handed hitting two-way player, showed well at the event in all parts. At the plate, a spread out approach, feet even, hands are relaxed. Small pick up and put down with stride foot, good backside drive. The swing is short to contact, gets extension through it, hands are inside the baseball, a level path. The approach is to all fields, had an exit velocity of 79 mph. A plus runner, ran a4.09 down the line. Defensively, arm is clean, good actions to both sides, with a soft glove. Quick transfer, feet move throughout. The backhand was soft and turned it from both sides. The arm was clocked at 78 mph, with more in there as he adds strength. Off the mound, simple repeatable delivery, arm working from a high 3/4 slot. Inline direction, minimal pull with lead arm. Small collapse on backside, could stay taller. Pounded zone with a 78 mph fastball, both secondary pitches thrown for strikes. Projects out more as a position player for me.
