5-foot-11, 195-pound strong solid build. Above average on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a short loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort.Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-81 mph;showed both sides of the plate command and running sinking action. (Max spin 2172; Avg 1925). Shows late tight action and down in the zone command on his 1/7 slider (69-71). (Max spin 2446; Avg 2313).

5-foot-10, 180-pound, stronger, durable athletic frame. A right-handed hitting two-player, at the plate, starts even, at the shoulders, loose hands, tilted bat. The swing works with easy effort, level through the zone. The approach is middle of the field, hard solid contact in batting practice, collecting a tee exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 7.97 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 72 mph from the outfield. The arm action is shorter, working out of a 3/4 slot. The footwork is more of a shuffle, gaining ground, shorter stride, throwing down hill. Off the mound, pounded  the zone with a two pitch mix. The fastball reached 71 mph and breaking pitch had 11-5 break, 65 mph. The delivery is simple, shorter stride, small collapse on both legs, could stay taller and ride out the front leg. Needs to incorporate the back side more. The arm action is clean and loose.

Tee Exit Velocity: 86 mph
Arm Velocity: 72 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.97

5-foot-9, 170 pounds, average athletic frame with slight shoulder slope. Should be able to add strength to the upper body, already doing so in the lower half. Ran a 8.22 sixty yard dash. A right-handed hitter, sets up with a wide base, even in the box. Hands are quiet and work from the shoulder, fluidity. Pull approach with average hip rotation and mostly level swing path. Can work to incorporate the body into the swing more as it is arm heavy for now, which is impressive as he showed gap power during batting practice. His tee exit velocity was measured at 86 MPH. Promising bat. As an outfielder, throws from a high ¾ slot. Throws had some carry with a clean arm action, clocked at 71 MPH. Should continue to spike as he matures. Average athletic outfield actions. Also a right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch. Simple, repeatable mechanics. Hands start at the belt before rising, average stride length. Long, clean arm swing, releasing from a high ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked between 65-67 MPH. Adding more movement to the pitch will help it keep hitters off balance. Inconsistent breaking ball shape, coming in between 56-59 MPH. As he develops should be able to develop more feel for spin, creating sharper break as it can get slurvey. Firm changeup at 64 MPH. Looking forward to seeing Maiello’s development at the high school level.
