5-foot-10, 165-pound, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders, with twitchy actions. A left-handed hitting infielder, at the plate, has a balanced setup, slightly wider, feet are even, hands are relaxed at shoulder height. Front shoulder stays on the baseball, swing is simple, a down to level swing. The approach is line drives from the middle to pull side. The exit velocity was clocked at 92 mph, hard solid contact, baseball jumps off the bat. An above average runner, clocked at 4.28 down the line, gets out of the box, showing athletic strides. Defensively, presents the glove early, short clean active prep-steps, gets around the baseball, momentum to 1st. The glove is soft out front, quick transfer to throwing arm, arm working from a higher slot. Follows throw. The arm was clocked at 74 mph. Feel for the double play starts, defensively is advanced. Might be better suited long term as an offensive second baseman. Good follow need to see him, looks to be tough and competes.

The setup is even in base and uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The front foot dives into the plate as the swing is produced. The hands work freely to the ball and he shows the ability to drive the ball gap to gap.

The footwork can smoothed out as he fields the ball to stay active during the process. He threw 75 mph across the diamond. I thought he swung the bat well, exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands work free and clean as he should be able to make adjustments with ease.
