A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
5-foot-6, 176-pound, thick, strong, athletic frame. Rounded shoulders, strong hands, already filling out. A right-handed hitting outfielder, loose hands, slightly closed stance. The swing is level to up, stays behind the baseball and creates lift and loft to the baseball. Shows the ability to go with the pitch. The lower half is under control, simple pick up and put down, backside drive, creating juice to the swing. The hands stay inside the baseball, had a tee exit velocity of 83 mph and runs well at 7.18 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 78 mph from the outfield, arm is loose and free, working from a natural 3/4 slot. The feet are clean and quick, uses more of a shuffle for the transfer. Projects for me as more of a left-fielder at the next level, potential to hit for average.

3/17/19
5-foot-6, 170-pound, thick, stronger athletic frame. Shoulders are rounded, well proportioned athlete. A right-handed hitting outfielder, top tool are his legs, ran a quick 4.27 from home to first. The feet start wider, slightly open stance. The hands are loose at the shoulders, for timing uses a small pick up and put down with stride foot. The swing is down to level to up, barrel could stay in the zone a tick longer. The approach is more to pull side, had a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. Defensively, arm has strength, clocked at 80 mph, shorter arm slot. The feet gain ground, steps through with shorter stride, could lengthen, will get more finish out front. Toolsy type athlete.
