5-foot-9, 160-pound, strong athletic frame, rounded shoulders, put together well. A two-way player, showed well off the bump. Worked from the set position the entire time, simple delivery, stays over the back side, back leg is strong, rides it, shorter stride working down through the zone. The front side is inline with the plate, minimal pull of lead glove arm. The arm action is clean, working out of a 3/4 slot, fastball was in the mid 70's with more to come over time. The secondary pitches are thrown for strikes, throws more of a slider, clocked in the mid 60's, late break to it, chance to be an out pitch at some point. Defensively, gets around the baseball, fields out front, working low to the ground, momentum moving towards the target. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, showed feel starting the double, looked smooth moving to glove side. At the plate, hits from the right side, starts slightly open, gets back to even, small pick up and put down with stride foot. The swing is level, needs to get back half engaged more. The approach is more middle to pull side, had a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. Look for him to make a jump off the mound.
Tee Exit Velocity: 77 mph Arm Velocity: 74 mph Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.09

5-foot-9, 160-pound, strong, athletic frame, shoulders are rounded off, back is wide. Already filling out, has strength throughout. A two-way player, off the mound, simple delivery, hands start high, work down with rocker step and move back up in sync with leg raise. The gather gets together, gets loaded on the back side, separation is on time and in the middle of his frame. The arm action is shorter on the backside, comes out of a natural ¾ slot. Squared up on release with good extension on the finish. The fastball was clocked at 67-71 mph, with down action to it. The breaking ball was clocked at 59-61 mph. Offensively, feet are even at shoulders, hands are loose and relaxed. The swing is simple and flat through the zone, barrel stays in the zone a long time, spraying the baseball to all fields. The lower half is under control, needs more backside drive, tends to push at times. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph and ran a 4.96 from home to first. Defensively, could incorporate more prep steps in attacking the baseball. The catch is soft, with a two shuffle transfer, moved well to the glove side, starting the double play. The arm was clocked at 68 mph across the diamond, out of a ¾ slot. Interesting prospect, like the feel and command off the mound.
