Position: 2B/C

Physical Profile/Projection: 5-9, 185lb medium thick frame. Proportional build, nearing his projection. 

Offensvie Analysis: Stance at the shoulders. Medium/High knee to knee leg kick. Longer stride. Loads the hands back, launches on a flat path through contact with a level finish. Good feel for the barrel, middle of the field approach. Dives into contact. 93 mph exit Velo. 

Defensive Analysis: Uber utility man. 3B/2B profile, could also see time behind the plate. Confident hands, consistent exchanges and footwork. Good hands. H3Q arm action. Accurate throws. 

Position: 2B/C

Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pound sturdy frame. Thick lower half, has continued to add mass since we've seen him last. Functional movements.

Hit: Begins in a balanced active stance with a big arm bar load, then uses a big leg kick just before his swing. Some bat speed. Level swing plane with natural lift through contact. Has feel for the barrel. 

Power: 86 mph exit velocity. aggressive approach. 

Defense: Infield, Consistent hands, average footwork, natural exchange.  

Arm: 73 Infield velocity. OTT arm slot. Accurate arm. 

Speed: 7.89

Summary: Has thickened up the lower half, carries the additional weight well. Has clearly been hitting the weight room. Seems to have maintained his functional movements and picked up some additional power at the plate. Profiles as a 3B/2B. Shows feel for the barrel at the plate, wasn't outmatched by anything he saw.

5 foot 9 medium build, has adding some mass since summer 2018. Physical maturity moving forward will dictate future position. Uber simplistic swing with very little hand load and basic stride timing mechanism. Worked to stay behind the ball up the middle and to the opposite field. Consistently found the barrel. Narrow crouch behind the plate and quick footwork without much lower body used in his throws to second. Also worked out as a second baseman, stop and start mechanics and quick release.
