Looks like a future star, with a strong 6-foot-5 frame and feel for pitching. He attacked at 87-89 with outstanding carry up in the zone and high spin rates in the 2400-2500s, along with a 73-76 downer curve that could use some tightening. There’s plenty more in the tank with him.

LHP, Andrew Jackson HS, 2022- Left hander showed why he's one of the top arms in the state. Large 6-5 frame, his fastball sat 87-90 on the night with good spin at 2400-2500. Showed the ability to move his fastball around the zone with lots of strikes. Showed two really good breaking balls with a hard late breaking slider at 77-78 with hard spin in the 2500s. Curveball was 72-75 and showed the ability to dump it in for strikes.

Wake Forest commit. 6’4 205. Commanding presence on the mound. Strong, powerful frame. High release as he worked downhill. Fastball ranged 82-85, topping at 86. Created swing and miss as he was able to locate the FB down in the zone. Curveball has very good bite and sweeping action to it sitting at 68. Change-up was effective at times running 77-78. Created a lot of rotation on his backside as he accelerated downhill.

Wake Forest commit. Large frame with broad shoulders and strength in the lower half at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds. Fastball ranged 86-89 early, settling 86-87 with a spin rate of 2430 – 2570 rpm. Good arm speed and fade on a change up at 82, spinning at 2100rpm. Slider worked through a slightly different window than the fastball, ranging 71-76, spinning on average at 2320rpm. Slider has early 2/8 tilt, getting more swings and misses the harder it was thrown, producing a little more depth. Simple delivery with a stable head. Slightly closed at balance, landing across his line. Clean arm action to an athletic high-3/4 slot. Good arm speed. Balanced finish.
