Made a significant jump on the mound this summer at PBR National in July. Working at 85-88 w/ 71-73 mph power slurve. Rose from 117 to 95 (+22). A left-handed pitcher who may continue to rise as Spring season rolls around.
May be listed as a primary outfielder, but it appears he has a bright future on the mound as well. Pitched well in relief, filling up the strike zone with his 85-88 mph fastball. Low-effort delivery and easy out of the hand, the fastball seemed to sneak up on hitters. He also shuffled in a highly effective power slurve that flashed depth and tight spin (up to 2500 spin, per Trackman), occasionally back-footing right-handed hitters.
