6-foot-0, 165-pound, RHH hits from a tall and slightly open stance, uses a very short stride that doesn't allow his lower body to engage, hips get cut off, likes to pull and comes around the ball with a flat to slightly downhill swing plane.  Defensively, played with some rhythm in the outfield, showed good hands and fluid footwork, never got in a hurry, exchange was clean, arm action was efficient and velo could increase with some strength.

6/14/17 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-79, CB: 67-68,
6-foot-0, 165-pound, RHP uses a very simple and compact delivery that’s easily repeatable and allows him to be consistent on the mound.  Linnell strides in-line and uses a short arm action through a high ¾ slot.  His finish is well controlled and balanced.  Fastball was mostly straight but thrown for strikes, while his curveball moved a lot like a slider with its 10/4 shape.  Flashed a changeup in warm ups but didn’t see in game action.
