Cole Wessel (‘25, Knoxville Central) The southpaw would enter out of the bullpen and look to hold the lead for Central, and he would do just that. He would go two and a third innings of no-hit, no run baseball in the process of which he would strikeout 4. He features a tricky low ¾ arm angle with some slingshot action, he cruised in the low 80s occasionally working up to 83. Flashed command of both a breaking ball and a changeup, both of which produced swings and misses. At 6’3 205 he has a good frame that has length in the limbs and has more velocity and strength in there going forward.
