Uncommitted. 6-foot-6, 197-pound frame with plenty of room for continued physical development. Big upside in the frame. Arm works long in the back coming into a 3/4 slot, and regularly dropped down to low-¾ with more slinger arm action. Fastball topped at 82 mph, working mostly 77-80 with slight arm-side run. More velocity likely in the tank once he incorporates his lower half in delivery. Inconsistent around the zone. Currently ranked No. 157 in Tennessee’s 2021 class.

Similar to Moss, Sweat is towering on the mound (6-6, 197 lbs) and throws from a funky 3/4 slot.  At Underclass Games, fastball worked 76-79, w/ curveball at 70-71 and changeup at 71-73. Reports have him in the low-80s, but he often struggles with his command.  With that being said, Sweatt proved to be an escape artist pitching out of trouble in various occasions.  Sweatt can be a force if he’s able to fine-tune his craft.

8/11/18 - Max FB: 79, FB: 76-78, CB: 61-63, CH: 69
6-foot-5, 185-pound, RHP shows super projectable frame w/ arm-speed.  XL tall, long and lanky frame w/ high-waist, lean.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from the stretch only into ¾ to L ¾ arm action from the first base side of the rubber.  Long and loose arm action.  Learning how to utilize his lower half to get his arm on time consistently, occasionally lags behind w/ misses to his arm-side.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run, occasional short sink.  Medium downer CB, loose, learning to consistently get on top, arm-slot may be more conducive to a SL.  Slows body on the CH, shows occasional short fade and sink.  Thrower on this day, sprayed the zone.

8/11/18 - 60 Time: 7.50, Position Velocity:  IF-72, Exit Velocity: 76
6-foot-5, 185-pound, RHH showed intriguing athleticism for a big frame, may end up profiling best on the mound.  XL tall, long and lanky frame w/ high-waist, lean.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly closed, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into toe tap and no hand load.  Would benefit from a little hand separation to give him a slightly better attack angle and generate a little more force through the zone.  Occasional length.  Can get over-rotational at times, learning to stay through the baseball consistently with his lower half.  Developing gap power.  Defensively, moves well at 1B w/ long release and athleticism.
