Young for the ‘27 prep draft class Lowery will be just 17 years old when the 2027 draft rolls around, but his youth didn’t stop him from excelling at the ECP. The right-handed hitter led the Yankees at the plate with a 5-for-7 showcase that included a double and four RBIS. He also stole a base after recording a 6.65 sixty. Louisville has done an excellent job as of late identifying lesser-acclaimed prep talent (like current Cardinal Griffin Crain) and Lowery looks to be in that same mold.
