May 2015 - RHP with very good size. Has long arms and thick lower body. Smooth mechanics and pitches exclusively from the stretch. Drives well with lower half off the rubber and has great downward action on fastball. Is only a two-pitch pitcher (fastball/slider) which does cause him to throw a lot of pitches as a starter. Throws a power slider with late, tight break. Shows the ability to throw slider in any count and varies speeds depending on situation. FB: 85-88 SL: 78-79
