The 6-foot-1, 190-pound infielder is a two-sport standout, doubling a starting linebacker for the state champ Mustangs. He's made big strides over the past year with his physicality and he's been a consistent offensive producer. Proportional frame with good athleticism to play all over the infield and room to add more strength. At the plate, relaxed, slightly crouched stance with moderate leg kick and good head/hand separation. Generates advanced bat speed (T 75.6 mph; Avg: 71.8 mph) with great hand speed and has a knack for barreling up the baseball. Strong hit tool, picking them up in bunches, as he can spray it to all fields with gap power (T 94.8 exit velo). Highlighted the Future Games with a triple in the LCF gap and an oppo taco HR in three games. Defensively, swift feet with clean transfers and ample arm strength (85 INF velo) from multiple slots. Versatile athlete who can play all over the infield and even corner OF if needed as a 6.85 runner. High stock rose tremendously the past year, finishing at 17th overall in the TN class, and committing to Tennessee this fall.
5-foot-11, 175-pound lean frame. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.43. In the box, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Started in a closed stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick right before his swing. Shows quick bat speed and a flat swing plane, and he ends his swing with extension on his finish. Line drive approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 79 mph across the field; has athletic footwork and sure hands. Showed a ¾ slot with long arm action.
