6/14/17 - Home-1st: 4.59, Position Velocity:  IF-77, Exit Velocity: 85
5-foot-11, 185-pound, RHH hits from an upright and open stance, uses a leg kick and stride to load, lower half creates some torque and keeps him balanced throughout, swing plane is flat through the zone and can provide some lift, gap power potential.  Defensively, showed good hands and footwork at the corner, played around and through the ball with confidence, arm action is clean and delivered firm throws across the infield.

6/14/17 - Max FB: 78, FB: 75-78, CB: 66-67, CH: 71-72,
6-foot-0, 185-pound, RHP has a very strong and mature frame, especially for a 2019 graduate.  Ross uses some quick footwork to begin his motion and get into his leg lift and gather at the top.  He strides in-line and uses a shorter arm action through a near over-the-top slot.  Finishes balanced, although with a slight recoil of his throwing arm after release.  Fastball was mostly straight but his curveball showed 12/6 action through the zone.  Changeup was a solid pitch but actually dropped down and away from righties.

6/15/16 - 60 Time: 7.63, Position Velocity:  IF-75, Exit Velocity: 83
5'11, 185-pound, RHH hits from a relatively tall and open stance with his hands out in front of his body, uses a leg kick and a long stride along with some rhythmic hand movement backwards to get himself in a loaded position.  Lower half fires through the zone and creates some very good separation from his hands, stays strong and balanced throughout his swing and creates some good bat speed, hands dropped into a good slot and created a swing plane that was flat through the zone with a little bit of lift at the end, looked a little stiff at times but showed a predominantly oppo approach and was able to hit plenty of line drives that way. Defensively,  showed good hands and average footwork at the hot corner and has the ability to make all the plays, didn’t play through the ball much and footwork put him in some awkward fielding positions, slow exchange led to a shorter arm action through an over-the-top release that showed good accuracy and average arm strength.

6/15/16 -  Max FB: 78, FB: 74-77, CB: 61-62,
5'11, 185-pound, RHP showed some good tempo early in his motion and maintains it through the majority of his delivery, uses a toe tap on the rubber when beginning with his rocker step and keeps his hands fairly still near his chest, gets tall at the top of his motion and comes down the hill with good use of his lower half, lands in line with the plate and pulls his head down and to his left a little bit, longer arm action comes through an over-the-top release point with some noticeable effort, consistent finish onto his left leg.  Fastball stayed fairly straight and was left up in the zone a few times, curveball showed 12/6 shape and the potential to be sharp.
