6-foot-1, 165-pound lean, proportional frame with room to add strength. At the dish, wide slightly open stance with big load but quiet lower half. Does a good job getting on plane with barrel (84%) and generates avg.-above average bat speed (T 70.4 mph; Avg: 65.5 mph) and solid rotational sequencing. Some barrel inconsistency due to his timing, capping his exit velo, but flashes of line drive power and chance of more with improved overall strength. Defensively, ok hands at the hot corner and little chop in his footwork, but a quick, short arm action. Average arm strength, but back spins it well getting better carry and 4.62 runner. On the mound, quick pace delivery with strong balance point. Quick, short arm action with some funk to it, hiding the ball well and releasing it around the ear. FB sat 78-81 (T 2124 rpm) working down in the zone and throwing strikes. Mixed 11/5 action CB at 64-66 with good shape and feel for zone. Not a put away pitch, but good to mix and can fill the zone with it. Rounds mix with 61-64 mph soap bubble CH, which shows flashes of depth to arm side and down, still finding feel. There is more in the lower half, as he can get more drive with back side, which would put him in a solid spot with another jump.
