The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
7.31
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
71.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
7.58
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Positional Profile: 2B/OF Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. long, narrow, slender frame. Hits: RHH. Tall, upright stance with soft rhythm in hands. Slight wrap load w/ toe tap strid Generates average bat speed w/ level bat path thru the zone. Rotational torque w/ more pull side pop coming. Line drive spray w/ pull side approach. Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 83.4 MPH. 335' max distance. Line drive hitter w/ consistent barrels and more power to project. Arm: RH. INF-71 mph.Loose, short arm action w/ good accuracy and below average arm strength. Defense: Good actions w/ solid footwork and hands. Average transfers, but fields the ball deep. Profiles best at 2B. Run: 7.58 runner in the 60.
9/27/20
The 5-foot-6, 118-pound small, lean frame showed slight improvements across the board since his appearance in June. Tall, back leg heavy stance with high active hands with small stride. Generates below average bat speed (Max: 59.2 mph), but improving along with other blast metrics. Steady mix of line drives and ground balls, but higher fly ball percentage. Defensively, active feet and average hands with a pack transfer and arm working to 3/4 slot. Sneaky range compared to 8.02-8.12 sixty time with sound footwork. Developing arm strength but a nice arm stroke, which has continued to improve statistically.
6/24/20
5-foot-6, 118-pound lean frame. During batting practice, Schmidt had a max exit velocity of 69 mph. Begins in a balanced open stance with a wrapping load, then uses a small leg kick just before his swing. Has some bat speed, an inside-out uphill swing plane and high finish. In the round he found a few barrels. Base hit approach. Average in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 60 mph; shows consistent hands, a clean exchange and developing feet. Used a loose arm action with a ¾ slot while showing some accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.02.
