9/30/18 - Home-1st: 4.81, Pop Time: 2.09-2.19, Position Velocity:  IF-74, C-70, Exit Velocity: 82
5-foot-9, 195-pound, RHH showed improvement nearly across the board from this event last year.  Medium, sturdy frame w/ present lower half strength, some upper body projection.  Prototypical catcher build.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ shift of weight, short stride and power load where the hands drop.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Flashes getting the lower half involved, is just along for the ride.  Had some hard luck in game, finding two hard line drives that went right to infielders.  Projectable pull power as legs get more involved.  Worked out at 3B and C.  On the dirt, shows solids hands, footwork w/ glove tap and projectable carry to target arm strength.  As a catcher, presents a quality target at knee high w/ short glove rest via a hip turn.  Needs to present the same quality target with runners on base.  Strong fore-arms, shows ability to stick the baseball.  Shows agility behind the plate, ability to box the baseball.  As a thrower, shows solid footwork w/ short cocking action in back and carry to target arm strength.
9/24/17 - Home-1st: 4.81, Pop Time: 2.15-2.18, Position Velocity:  IF - 71, C - 69, Exit Velocity: 86
5-foot-9, 195-pound, RHH w/ physical body and some bat speed.  Short, physical frame w/ present lower half strength, some physical projection.  Righty hits from a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Leg kick to square w/ proper load.  Generates bat speed w/ some pull power.  Pull oriented approach w/ an aggressive, swing first mentality.  Defensively, presents a big body behind the plate w/ soft hands.  Can present a better target for his pitchers by opening glove completely.  Athletic receiver moves well behind the plate.  Intriguing 2019 catcher follow.
