6-foot-3, 168-pound, RHP has a long and lanky frame, uses a motion that gets faster as he goes and builds up into a quick release, leg lift gets him slightly closed at the top, strides in line and uses his lower half well, shorter arm action comes through a high ¾ slot.  Fastball showed some slight run through the zone, curveball has the ability to be sharp with 12/6 to 11/5 shape, changeup was straight but can sink when kept down.

10/18/15 - 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed hitter with long/lanky projectable frame, hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, line drive type hitter who generates average bat speed for age, 77 mph exit velocity off the tee, had solid at bats in game play going 2-for-3 with singles to left field and center field, ran 4.97 down the line. Shows average defensive hands, gets rid of the ball quickly with a high-3/4 release, made accurate throws across the infield with 69 mph arm strength. Pogue projects well to continue to develop overall game.
On the mound, 6-foot-3, 165-pound RHP has a long/lanky frame that projects well, works through an over the top arm slot with regular effort in delivery, is quick to the plate from the stretch, pounds the strike zone with fastball/curveball mix, fastball sat 71-73 mph with occasional arm-side run, shows good feel for 60-63 mph curveball and locates it well at the bottom of the zone, curveball shows 12/6 action with some depth, allowed five hits and struck out one in his two innings of work, young pitcher who projects to add significant velocity.
